Foothill Ranch Co. has added five new tenants to Foothill Ranch Plaza, a 20-acre corporate campus in Lake Forest, Calif., a community in South Orange County. The new tenants secured a total of 94,700 square feet of space.
A Courtyard by Marriott hotel opened in 88,052 square feet of space in Foothill Ranch Plaza in February 2004. The hotel has 156 rooms with business services and personal amenities. The hotel sits on 3.3-acres of land in the Foothill Ranch Plaza at Portola Parkway and the 241 Foothill Transportation Corridor.
“Foothill Ranch is a growing community and a great location because it allows us to be in the center of both business and leisure opportunities,” said Gerry Lopez, general manager of Courtyard by Marriott Foothill Ranch.
The other new tenants are Starbucks Coffee, Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Memphis Bar·B·Q and Rico Sabor Sandwiches. Existing retail tenants include Wal-Mart, Target, Ralph’s, Regal Cinemas, Outback Steakhouse, Island’s, Chili’s, Sa-von, Staples, Mervyn’s, Outback Steakhouse, Island’s and Chili’s, Old Navy, Souplantation, Chuck E. Cheese and Peppinos.
Foothill Ranch encompasses 2,743 acres with more than 8.5 million square feet of retail and commercial space. More than 3,900 housing units have been built since development began in 1996.
Foothill Ranch Co. is an affiliate of Foothill Ranch-based Stirling, master developer of the 5,000-acre Southern California Logistics Airport in Victorville, and Ocean Ranch Corporate Centre, a 400-acre master-planned business complex in north San Diego County.
