The Cendant Mobility broker network, a unit of Cendant Corp.’s real estate services division, reported a record 20,440 closed broker referrals in 2003, an increase of 13 percent compared with the previous year, when the network reported a then all-time high of 18,102 closed broker referrals. Closed broker referrals originate from network brokers and are culminated by a transaction of funds, documents and property.
The network also set a record last year for outgoing referrals, which totaled 62,858 compared with 54,069 in the previous year, an increase of 16 percent.
Cendant Mobility VP Denise Rodgers said the results are “a true testament to the synergies that exist within our broker network.”
The Cendant Mobility broker network includes the Century 21, Coldwell Banker and ERA Cendant real estate brands and independent real estate brokerages. The network has “demonstrated continued growth since its creation in 1997,” a Cendant statement said.
