MIT Lending, the wholesale lending division of MortgageIT, today announced the addition of two new branch offices in Denver, Colo. and Kansas City, Kan. The company plans to open an additional six branches by 2005.
The wholesale mortgage lender’s Denver branch will be overseen regionally by senior vice president of the Western Region, Sharon Bitz, a 25-year mortgage banking veteran, and senior vice president of the Western Region, R.J. Arnett, an 18-year mortgage banking veteran. The office in Denver increases the growing lender’s Western loan production channels and is part of an expansion plan that began with five new branch offices (Seattle, Wash.; San Diego and Woodland Hills, Calif.; and Jacksonville and Tampa, Fla.) announced in December 2003.
In addition to continued expansion in California and Florida, MIT Lending opened a new branch office in Kansas City. Keith Bilodeau, senior vice president and central region manager, a 23-year mortgage industry veteran, has overseen the opening and will be responsible for operations and fulfillment services for the branch during its start-up period as well as loan production for MIT Lending in 17 Central states.
New York City-based MIT Lending’s loan products include subprime programs, a full FNMA/FHLMC and niche product menu, FHA/VA loans, aggressive jumbo adjustable-rate mortgages and home equity offerings. As a result of working closely with brokers and incorporating industry technology, the company continues to add scalable and Internet loan offerings, such as online locking, downloadable documents, uploadable forms with automatic field population and .NET technology.
