A new cloud-based document management service, SurDoc, allows users to back up, share and edit — including digitally sign — a variety of documents on the cloud using desktop and mobile devices.
The SurDoc service is compatible with popular Web browsers and also works on smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops, without a need to download mobile apps, according to a company spokesperson.
Word-processing documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, presentations and other text and image data can be viewed, shared, annotated, and, depending on the format, edited.
SurDoc launched in December 2011, and the company offers a 10-gigabyte storage plan at no charge and a 100-gigabyte premium plan at an annual cost of $9.99.
